MICHAEL KORS SPRING 14

“Summer romance...a softer attitude...the juxtaposition of sportif and romantic...legs revealed...the modern pin-up at the beach...the dash of a dot...the softly structured clutch and satchel...spring 2014.”
                                       Michael Kors

Today’s show opened with Karen Pedaru and Simon Nessman stepping out in matching white and tan; two stand-out colours of Michael Kor’s new Spring 2014 collection.

The complete colour palette of the designs revealed today incorporates bright whites, navy, grass-greens, and tan. Like other designers we have seen this NYFW, Michael Kors integrated a variety of prints into Spring 14. These included romantic spring-time florals, python print, and polka dot. Cinched in waists gave the collection an overall feminine feel. Yet with each model came an oversized tan clutch bag giving a sleek modern feel.

A personal highlight was the cognac leather python-print smart tee (with skinny belt), a statement piece within Kors’ SS14 collection.

Wide leg trousers, lightweight silk blouses, coordinated separates, and cinched in waists accurately describe Michael Kor’s SS14 collection.

Personal highlight of mine; absolutely beautiful.
